The Simple Life

Slow down, you move too fast. You’ve got to make the morning last! Just kicking down the cobblestones. Looking for fun and feeling groovy!

Breathe

Wake up to a brand new moment! Breathe in the freshness of a new possibility. Breathe in the best of all that you are experiencing here and now. You’re alive! Exciting new experiences await your discovery. Air flows through your lungs. Move your body. Sense your surroundings. Take in the beauty of this unique moment, completely and with gratitude.

Smile

Smile at the grass, the sky, the raindrop. Marvel in the miraculous magnificence of every molecule. What wonder. What grace. What perfection. It is all right, just as it is.

Move

Move your body. Dwell in the wonder that you are. Be amazed by what you can do. Flex, sway, bend, shift. How remarkable that we can be here in one moment and go there the next. Slow or swift, it’s a gift. Even one inch over gives us a brand new perspective.

Play

Delight in simple activity. Run, jump, sit, draw, read, engage with another. Find joy in mindless, purposeless activity. Allow the body and mind to relax through play. Skip, build, paint, roll, dance.

Laugh

Giggle to your heart’s content, about anything at all! Laughter heals the body, realigns the mind, and balances life. See what’s funny in every situation. Take yourself lightly. Enjoy a hearty howling laugh.

Be

Rest in the delight of what is. Be in the present moment. Accept all that is here and now with gratitude. In this moment, all is indeed very well.

Now

This moment, ‘now’, is the only moment that exists. Use it up. Embrace, drink in, metabolize every moment as it happens.
